I HEAR THE LORD SAY, “PICK UP YOUR HARP AND SING AGAIN!
Psalm 137:1-2
1 Beside the rivers of Babylon, we sat and wept
as we thought of Jerusalem.
2 We put away our harps, hanging them on the branches of weeping willow trees…..
Has life had it’s way with you? Have you grieved and experienced loss that has left you by the rivers of Babylon, weeping?
This morning as I was praying, I saw a people who were weeping. They used to be instruments used by God. But life has not been fair lately and you are grieving and you have hung your harp on the weeping willow tree.
But today I hear the Lord say, “It’s time to pick up your harp and sing again!”
All your disappointments, grief, and pain have led up to this moment and I hear the Lord say, “It’s time to pick up your harp and sing again!”
It’s time to play your instrument again!
It’s time to live again!
It’s time to believe again!
It’s time to serve again!
It’s time to praise & worship again!
It’s time to dream again!
It’s time to teach again!
It’s time to soar again!
DON’T SURRENDER! DON’T STOP BELIEVING! DON’T STOP PRAYING! DON’T STOP SERVING! AND DON’T STOP SINGING!
Don’t hang your head low with shame and defeat!
You have been made more than conquerors through Jesus Christ!
Isaiah 44:4 New Living Translation
They will thrive like watered grass, like “weeping” willows on a riverbank.
Notice the River is a “running” River…not a “stagnant” River. The river represents nourishment that causes growth!
I prophesy to you! There is a RIVER that will turn your weeping into Joy.
DON’T STOP SINGING! DON’T STOP SERVING!
Out of your heart, your belly will flow “RIVERS” of living water. This refers to the power of the Holy Spirit!
DON’T STOP BELIEVING! DON’T HANG UP YOUR GIFT!
Psalm 46:4 ESV
There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy habitation of the Most High.
John 7:38-39 ESV
Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, ‘Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.
AGAIN I SAY…… I hear the Lord saying, “It’s time to pick up your harp and sing again!”
